Twitch has updated its Community Guidelines to prohibit the promotion and sponsorship of skin gambling websites.
In response to the issue of gambling streams on the platform, Twitch released new guidelines in 2022 prohibiting the promotion of any websites that are not licensed in the United States or other jurisdictions with consumer protections, particularly those offering slot machines, roulette, and dice games. The new guidelines explicitly list prohibited websites, including Stake.com, Rollbit.com, Duelbits.com, and Roobet.com. Additionally, free social versions of these sites are not permitted on the platform.

Under the updated guidelines, users are prohibited from sharing links or promotional codes for websites featuring slot machines, roulette, or dice games—such as banners for online roulette games appearing in videos.

This move has led to a decline in the number of content creators producing gambling-related content on the Twitch platform.
Twitch is currently strictly enforcing its platform policies and recently released new guidelines prohibiting streamers from promoting or sponsoring Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) skin gambling websites.

In a statement to Dexerto, Twitch indicated that this move is related to renewed user interest in CS:GO skin gambling. Twitch stated, “CS:GO skin gambling has once again garnered widespread attention, so we have explicitly clarified in our FAQ that promotion or sponsorship is not permitted.”
At the same time, Twitch has added two gambling websites to its list of banned sites: blaze.com and gamdom.com.
Based on Twitch’s current official policies, the platform still permits the promotion of fantasy sports, sports betting, and poker websites.
