Twitch has updated its Community Guidelines to prohibit the promotion and sponsorship of skin gambling websites.
In response to gambling-related livestreaming issues on the platform, Twitch issued new guidelines in 2022 prohibiting the dissemination of any websites that are not licensed in the United States or other jurisdictions providing consumer protection. Such websites include those offering slot machines, roulette, and dice games.
The new guidelines explicitly identify prohibited websites, including Stake.com, Rollbit.com, Duelbits.com, and Roobet.com, and also prohibit the appearance of their free social versions on the platform.
According to the updated guidelines, users are not allowed to share links or promotional codes for websites involving slot machines, roulette, or dice games, such as displaying banners of online roulette games within videos.

This measure has led to the loss of gambling-related content creators on the Twitch platform.
Twitch is currently strictly enforcing its platform policies and has recently released further updates prohibiting streamers from promoting or sponsoring Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) skin gambling websites.

In a statement to Dexerto, Twitch indicated that this move is related to the renewed interest in CS:GO skin gambling. Twitch stated: “CS:GO skin gambling has once again attracted widespread attention, therefore we have explicitly clarified in our FAQ that promotion or sponsorship of such activities is not permitted.”
At the same time, Twitch has added blaze.com and gamdom.com to its list of prohibited gambling websites.
Based on Twitch’s current official policies, the platform still permits the dissemination of content related to fantasy sports, sports betting, and poker websites.
